The Agricultural Development Trust (ADT) Baramati is a renowned organization, established by Hon. Sharad Chandraji Pawar in 1971 with a mission to develop the agriculture sector and provide essential services to farmers on ‘no profit no loss’ basis and testing the utility of proven technologies and to declare its results for the benefit of the farming community. Under the aegis of ADT, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and Agriculture College have done commendable work in human resource development, capacity building and empowerment of farmers.
India’s first Indo- Dutch Center of excellence on Protected Vegetable Cultivation has been established at KVK, Baramati with an objective of demonstrating the latest horticultural technologies to the farming community. The work of ADT has received global recognition and duly appreciated by Hon’ble PM and Hon’ble president of India. Baramati has been an Educational Hub for all the students of underprivileged regions of neighboring districts. There are around 15000 students schooling under a single umbrella. Agricultural Development Trust, Baramati is having KG to PG educational facilities in its campus.

AIC-ADT BARAMATI FOUNDATION is located at the Agricultural Development Trust,Baramati(Host Institute) having 110 acres of land and will have access to Institutes’ wifi-enabled infrastructure like classrooms with LCD projectors, technical labs, seminar halls, conference rooms, board rooms, computer labs, library, cafeteria, vehicle parking and other facilities.
The Centre aims to be a common platform for the students and faculties of the educational institutes and its underneathsister institutes, individuals and established entrepreneurs to hone the necessary skills of market research, study of economic demands and accordingly shape the ideas to a marketable product; essentially, to the people of rural communities and farmers.
