From the Desk of the CEO
The Science & Innovation Activity Centre (SIAC) represents a bold step towards shaping the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers. As CEO, I believe that centres like SIAC are not only essential for nurturing talent but also for driving social and economic impact.
In today’s rapidly changing world, students require more than classroom knowledge. They need to be future-ready with skills in critical thinking, digital literacy, and innovation. SIAC provides that platform by combining advanced facilities such as Innovation Hubs, AR/VR labs, Robotics, and Data Science modules with an engaging and inclusive learning approach.
At SIAC, we are also committed to entrepreneurship development through the AIC-ADT Baramati Foundation. We recognize that rural youth and agricultural graduates carry immense potential to address challenges in agriculture, technology, and society. By mentoring and supporting them with infrastructure, market insights, and incubation facilities, we are helping transform ideas into sustainable, socially relevant ventures.
Our progress so far — with thousands of students engaged, hundreds of workshops conducted, and deep collaborations with schools — is just the beginning. We envision SIAC as a regional and national hub for innovation, creating opportunities not only for students but also for educators, researchers, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
I extend my gratitude to the Agricultural Development Trust, Baramati, for their continued guidance and to all our partners, teachers, and students for their enthusiasm. Together, we can ensure that innovation is not limited to cities but reaches every village, classroom, and community.
