From the Desk of the Manager

At the Science & Innovation Activity Centre (SIAC), our mission is simple yet powerful — to nurture curiosity and creativity among young minds while providing them with the tools to transform ideas into reality. As Manager, I see this centre not just as a space for learning, but as a platform for exploration, innovation, and growth.
Education today must go beyond textbooks. Students need opportunities to experiment, fail, learn, and try again. SIAC has been designed exactly for this purpose — to make STEM learning experiential and enjoyable. Through our interactive labs, workshops, and hands-on activities, we aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
It has been incredibly rewarding to witness students explore AR/VR technologies, robotics, 3D printing, and digital innovation, while also connecting these skills to real-world challenges. Every workshop, camp, and seminar we organize reaffirms our belief that young minds are natural innovators when given the right environment.
Looking ahead, my focus remains on ensuring that SIAC continues to reach the unreached — especially schools and students in rural and underprivileged areas. Our Hub & Spoke model for STEM outreach is already making a difference, but we have only just begun.
I welcome students, educators, and innovators to be part of SIAC. Together, we can build a culture of science, innovation, and entrepreneurship that not only transforms individuals but also impacts communities positively.
