About

From the Desk of the Chairman

It gives me immense pride to see the Science & Innovation Activity Centre (SIAC) emerge as a beacon of learning, creativity, and empowerment under the umbrella of the Agricultural Development Trust (ADT), Baramati. Since its inception in 1971, ADT has been committed to serving farmers, students, and society on a “no profit – no loss” principle, and SIAC is yet another milestone in this journey.
In the rapidly evolving landscape of education, it is imperative that we provide young minds with access to cutting-edge technologies and experiential learning opportunities. SIAC has been envisioned as a space where students can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in a hands-on, engaging manner. From 3D printing and robotics to virtual reality and design thinking, the centre inspires curiosity and prepares students for future challenges.
Beyond education, SIAC is deeply rooted in our vision of inclusive growth. Through the AIC-ADT Baramati Foundation, we are fostering entrepreneurship among agricultural graduates, rural youth, and farmers. By equipping them with knowledge, skills, and mentorship, we aim to create a new generation of innovators who will not only build successful ventures but also uplift their communities.
I am delighted to see the enthusiasm with which students, teachers, and innovators are embracing SIAC. It reaffirms my belief that when we invest in science, innovation, and human resource development, we invest in the future of our nation.
Let us continue working together to ensure that SIAC becomes a hub of excellence and inspiration for generations to come.
